BY AIR

A large percentage of our clients opt to travel by air to one of the four airports close to Meribel. With the increasing number of low cost airlines providing a wide range of flight options available from airports throughout the UK, this option will often prove to be the most economical and straight forward.

Geneva and Lyon airports are approximately 2 ½ hours from the resort and Chambery and Grenoble airports are approximately 1 ½ hours from the resort.

Car Hire

 Airport buses

There are also buses which run from each of the airports above to Meribel.

Geneva : From Geneva Altibus run 8 buses per day on Saturday and 3 or 4 on other days. The journey takes around 3 ¼ hours . Moreover, a timetable for buses departing Geneva Airport for all ski resorts, can be found at Geneva Ski Resort Bus Timetable

Lyon : From Lyon St. Exupéry Satobus run 4 buses on Saturday and 2 or 3 on other days. The journey takes 3 - 4 hours  Tel +33 (0)4 72 35 94 96.

Chambery : From Chambéry Altibus run one bus per day. The journey takes 2 ¼ hours .Tel +33 (0)4 79 08 54 90.

Grenoble : From Grenoble Agbus runs one bus per day and two on Saturdays to Moutiers.One has to take another bus or a taxi till the resort. The journey takes 2 hours. Tel +33 (0)4 76 27 89 29.

BY CAR


Self-driving to Meribel is an option favoured by many, especially those looking for a maximum flexibility.

Meribel is approximately 600 miles from the channel ports and is conveniently served by motorway to within 12 miles of the resort. Tolls are approximately £45 each way.

BY TRAIN

The Eurostar runs directly from London Waterloo to the town of Moutiers, which is a mere 25-minute-drive from Meribel.
